Operating from their offices at Ebene Junction, the agency offers a comprehensive range of property types including land, houses, apartments, and luxury developments, and approached Webmate in 2019 to build a platform capable of presenting and managing their growing portfolio professionally online.

The technical core of the Red Velvet Realty website is its property listings system — a searchable, filterable database of available properties that allows visitors to browse by type, location, price range, and specification. Built on WordPress with WPBakery, the system allows the agency team to add, update, and remove listings without developer involvement, keeping the portfolio current and accurate at all times. Individual property pages present each listing with full photography galleries, specification details, and a clear enquiry pathway.

The site serves two distinct audiences simultaneously — Mauritians looking to buy or rent locally, and international buyers and expats considering property investment or relocation to Mauritius. This dual audience required a content and user experience strategy that addressed both groups' needs without creating confusion. The property categories and search functionality were structured to serve both local and international browsing behaviour naturally.
