Lifecare Home is a leading senior care provider based in Curepipe, Mauritius, dedicated to providing compassionate, personalised care to elderly residents in a nurturing and homely environment. The organisation approached Webmate in 2023 to build a website that would communicate their values, their facilities, and their approach to care with the warmth and professionalism that families expect when researching care options for a loved one.
The brief for this project required particular sensitivity. Families making decisions about senior care are in an emotionally significant moment — they are looking for reassurance, credibility, and genuine warmth before they ever pick up the phone. Every design and content decision on the Lifecare Home website was made with this visitor journey in mind. The site needed to feel like the care home itself — welcoming, safe, and trustworthy — from the very first screen.
Built on WordPress with Elementor Pro, the site presents Lifecare's full range of services including 24/7 care and support, doctor's consultations, physiotherapy, recreational activities, and specialised dementia care. A careers section was integrated to support the organisation's ongoing recruitment of qualified care staff, and a blog section enables the team to share news, events, and updates with families and the wider community.
The result is a website that serves as Lifecare Home's primary digital ambassador — a platform that families across Mauritius can visit to understand what makes the home different, see the facilities, read about the team's approach to care, and take the first step toward enquiring about a place for their loved one with genuine confidence.
